Stone by stone, Sabine Lichtenfels leads us in her book through the stone circle of Tamera – a spiritual community work of art for a supra-historical peace culture. Ninety-six stones – like the Almendres neolithic stone circle near Évora, after whose model it was built – each stand for an archetype, a quality, a profession or a characteristic. If these qualities exist together, complement and strengthen each other, then a community of peace can emerge.
The path through the stone circle is at the same time a path of development – from birth and the growing up of the child, through adolescence, to the discovery of sensuality and sexuality, into the awakening of the spirit and the commitment to peace, in professions, personal and cultural characteristics and qualities, in contact with the earth and the divine world.
The book is both a helper for personal development – and an insight into a concrete vision of peace, into the “prehistoric utopia”, as Sabine Lichtenfels calls it.
